Warranty Policy

Full Lifetime Warranty

Firearms and parts manufactured by JWorks are backed by our Full Lifetime Warranty. Our JWorks manufactured firearms and parts are warranted to be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship for the serviceable lifetime of the firearm or part. The liability of JWorks under this warranty shall be limited solely to the obligation to repair the defect, replace the firearm/part, or provide a refund at its sole discretion, and to pay transportation and insurance charges for any return of the firearm to the owner for a rightful warranty claim. This warranty is transferable for the serviceable lifetime of the firearm or part. Modifications of the firearm will void this warranty. Modifications include but are not limited to the addition of any non-JWorks or third-party manufactured accessory to the firearm, and JWorks disclaims all responsibility and liability for any damage caused as a result of such third-party accessory use. This warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear and also does not cover any damage resulting from repairs or adjustments, careless handling, neglect, improper, substandard, reloaded or defective ammunition, corrosion, or other unreasonable use of the firearm or part.

To initiate a Warranty claim, Please use the Contact Form and select “Problem with a JWorks Product” as your Contact Reason. Warranty claims must have this RMA filled out, and included in the box with the firearm or part. All complete firearms need to be returned in full for repair. Replacement parts will not be issued or sent to the customer. The firearm or part concerned must be shipped using the prepaid label our representative emails to you. JWorks will pay shipping and insurance charges for the return of a firearm or part to its owner or FFL, if the related claim is a proper claim for warranty work. If JWorks is unable to fix the original serial number, a new one will be sent out, but must go to an FFL for transfer back to the customer. Another background check will be completed at the time of transfer. JWorks is not responsible for transfer fees at the FFL.

Under no circumstances shall JWorks be responsible for incidental or consequential damages with respect to economic loss or injury to property, whether as a result of express or implied warranty, negligence or otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. JWorks will not be responsible for the results of ordinary wear and tear, careless handling, neglect, unauthorized repairs or adjustments, improper, substandard, reloaded or defective ammunition, corrosion, or unreasonable use. This warranty gives you legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

JWorks reserves the right to cancel any order, at any time, for any reason.


Order Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellations

An order placed with JWorks may be cancelled by the customer prior to the order having been shipped.

Orders placed with JWorks may be cancelled by the customer prior to the item having shipped. All cancellation requests must be made through the Customer Service Department at 803-674-0704, Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm EST. You MUST provide the order number when contacting Customer Service via phone or email.

If the item/package has shipped, the order may not be cancelled and the customer must follow all rules applicable to returns. Please note that the return of the item/package will be made at the customer’s expense.

Cancelled orders may not be reversed. All cancellations are final.

All sales on gift cards are final and cannot be refunded.

Company Cancellations

In some cases, JWorks may have to cancel an order or part of an order. JWorks will provide a refund or gift card for the amount of the order or part of the order that was cancelled.


All sales of firearms, ammunition, ammunition components, blank cartridges and clothing are FINAL, and returns, refunds or exchanges are NOT ACCEPTED. Orders shipped to a FFL and transferred are FINAL UPON SHIPMENT.

If a defect is discovered in any firearm after being transferred or any of the other products listed above you will have two options. You may contact the manufacturer directly and request a warranty repair or replacement or you may contact us to request a return for refund, WITHIN 30 DAYS, of the date of receipt of delivery of the purchased item.

Shipping costs will not be refunded for any approved returns that are not warranty claims.


JWorks reserves the right to dispute any bank or credit card chargebacks. JWorks reserves the right to refuse all future orders placed by any customer that cancels an order via debit or credit card chargeback following shipment.

All exchanges must be returned and received by the returns department prior to a replacement being shipped out.

All other Purchases

If the purchased item(s) is defective or damaged upon receipt, or if the customer is not satisfied with a purchased item(s) and wishes to return it for a refund or replacement, the customer may return the item(s) to JWorks WITHIN 30 DAYS of the date of receipt of delivery of the purchased item.

All returns MUST INCLUDE a completed Return Merchandise Form with the returned item in order for JWorks to process the request, issue a refund, or replace the item. The Customer MUST call Customer Service to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number BEFORE returning any item.

All returned items must be in the same condition as when they were shipped by JWorks and must be returned in original packaging. If the item is not returned in resalable condition, JWorks may assess a restocking fee.

If the customer fails to include a Return Merchandise Form with the returned item(s), or if the Return Merchandise Form is incomplete, JWorks will NOT process a refund or replacement for the item(s) and the package will be returned to the customer.


Customers who send in any JWorks manufactured product in for repair must also print and include a completed copy of the Return Merchandise Form.

Shipping Times

Typically, you can expect your order to ship within 5-7 business days. During the holiday and peak seasons shipping times will vary due to the high order volume. We do work very hard to get your order out to you, and apologize if there is a delay with it. Let our Customer Service Department know if your order has passed the above ship time, and they will have your order sent to our Shipping Department to investigate the reason for the delay.

Please note that upper receivers may take up to 15 business days to ship out. Serialized items (rifles, pistols, lower receivers, etc.) may take up to 7-10 business day to ship out. Please verify that JWorks has a copy of the FFL from your dealer.

Shipping Protection

If selected at checkout, JWorks, LLC (“JWorks”) will deliver all goods and merchandise purchased from JWorks to the named recipient “Delivered at Place Unloaded” at the address within the United States that you specify in your order (Incoterms 2020). This means that JWorks will bear the risk of loss of bringing such goods and merchandise to, and unloading them at, such destination, including loss or damage during transit. Once such goods and merchandise have been delivered and unloaded at such destination, JWorks will have no further risk of loss, including responsibility for loss or damage. For lost or damaged property, JWorks will, at its election, replace the goods and merchandise as long as a replacement items are available or refund the purchase price to you (in cash or by issuance of a JWorks gift card) less shipping fees and taxes, which will be your sole and exclusive remedy. These terms are terms of shipment and are NOT an insurance contract.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, JWorks will not bear any risk of loss or be responsible for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by any of the following, regardless of any other cause or event that contributes concurrently or in any sequence to the loss, all of which risk of loss shall be borne by you: (1) seizure or destruction of property by order of governmental authority; (2) incorrect delivery by the carrier caused by an incorrect address on the shipping label; (3) misappropriation, sabotage, conversion or any other dishonest act on the part of you or other party of interest, your respective employees or agents or others to whom the goods or merchandise may be entrusted for any purpose whatsoever; (4) any shortage in goods claimed to have been forwarded in a package when the package is received by the addressee in apparent good condition with the seals unbroken; (5) unsuccessful delivery attempts; ( In addition, JWorks will not bear any risk of loss or be responsible for any loss or damage in the event your payment made to JWorks is in any form that is false, fraudulent, invalid, uncollectible, or counterfeit.

Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, JWorks’s liability is limited to the cost of reasonably restoring the applicable item to its condition immediately before loss or damage or the cost of replacing that property with substantially identical property. If JWorks pays any loss or damage, it will pay no more than the value you have recorded for purchase. JWorks reserves all right, title and interest in the applicable items to the extent of payments paid by JWorks.

All notices for loss of or damage to property transported or accepted must include date of shipment, tracking number, and the nature of loss or damage. Claims should be made by calling our customer service line at 803-674-0704 or emailing us at j[email protected]. All claims must be made within seven days after the scheduled delivery time or five days after you receive notification that the package was delivered but did not receive it. All damaged items must be verified and a certified statement of loss with proof of documentation required by consignee. Proof of loss must include proof of interest in the property and affidavit of shipment. JWorks will pay for loss or damage within seven days after it receives the sworn proof of loss, if you have complied with all the terms set forth herein and JWorks has reached agreement with you on the amount of the loss.

We offer a standard $9.95 Flat Rate Shipping for all items.

Order Tracking

To track your order, log in, click on “My Account”, click on “View Order” on the right hand side of the screen, click “Shipments”, and then click on the tracking number. Typically, tracking information will be updated at the end of the business day after your order has been picked up by the carrier. If the tracking number has not been added to your order, the carrier has not picked up your order.

In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup of non-Firearms is not available. Please have these items shipped directly to you at your residence.

Firearm order pickup is available at our Allendale (Hood Street) location. If you plan to pickup from us, please select JWorks as your FFL when placing your order.

Customers will be contacted by the store once the In-Store Pickup is available. Any customer who wishes to pick up stripped lower receivers or handguns must be a current resident of South Carolina with a valid SC driver’s license or state approved ID, with their current address reflected. Long guns may be picked up by non-residents, provided they do so in person and the transaction is legal in both the transferee and transferor’s state. The only exception would be permanent party military personnel, who would be required to provide a copy of their PCS orders, ID, and if they live off base, a state issued document (i.e. utility bill, vehicle registration) at time of pick up.

Order Restrictions

We ship only to valid FFL Dealers. Firearms cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.

The customer is responsible for knowing his/her state laws regarding firearm transfers. Contact your local FFL dealer with any questions regarding the sale or transfer of firearms. Contact your local FFL before ordering a firearm to verify their transfer fee and to ensure they will receive your transfer. The customer assumes all responsibility and cost for returned firearms due to FFL refusal or failure to receive.

If you order a handgun, stockless shotgun, complete AR or AK receiver, or stripped lower receiver, YOU MUST be:

  1. A legal resident of the state in which you are ordering.
  2. 21 years of age or older to complete the transfer through your FFL.

Exceptions: Military personnel stationed in a state other than their legal residence may purchase firearms across state lines. Contact your local FFL receiving the transfer as you may have to provide proof of deployment, residence, etc.

Please follow all directions prompted to you at checkout. This will ensure speedier delivery. Please note that the FFL selection on our website is for customer convenience only and does not necessarily mean that JWorks has the FFL selected on file. The customer may be asked to provide the FFL information that they wish to use. If a customer wishes to change the FFL they want to use after the order has shipped, they will be additionally charged for the cost of shipping. If a FFL is not available at the time of delivery, the package will not be held at the carrier hub and will be returned to JWorks. Additional shipping charges will apply to orders that need to be reshipped.

Sale Restrictions

No sales of ANY merchandise to:

  1. Chicago
  2. Massachusetts
  3. Washington D.C
  4. Puerto Rico

All firearms will be shipped to the premise address on the FFL license unless you call and request it to ship to the mailing address. All licenses will be validated through FFL EZ Check and must match exactly to avoid delays and cancellation. It is the responsibility of the dealer to ensure that JWorks has an updated copy of the FFL license.

No ammunition, third-party items (Drop Ship) or ANY firearms will be shipped to a Post Office Box. 

Freight Forwarding is required for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.

Knife Ordering Restrictions

Please carefully read and ensure your compliance with the following requirements and restrictions prior to purchasing any knife:

Federal law prohibits the sale and shipment in interstate commerce of switchblades, out of front (OTF) knives, and other automatic opening knives (collectively, “ Automatic Knives” ) other than in accordance with the limited exceptions set forth below.

Automatic Knives

  1. Automatic Knives include a knife that opens with hand pressure applied to a button or other device in the handle of the knife, or by operation of inertia, gravity, or both.
  2. Automatic Knives do not include a knife that contains a spring, detent, or other mechanism designed to create a bias toward closure of the blade and that requires exertion applied to the blade by hand, wrist, or arm to overcome the bias toward closure to assist in opening the knife.

Limited Exceptions. Automatic Knives may only be sold:

  1. To civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;
  2. To supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard, or militia of a State ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such organizations;
  3. To supply or procurement officers or employees of any State, or any political subdivision of a State or Territory, ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such government; or
  4. To manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant to an order from any person designated in the preceding subparagraphs (a), (b), and (c). JWorks will not sell any Automatic Knife without the above conditions being met.

P.O. Box Shipments / Restrictions

Firearms cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.

JWorks abides by all Federal Regulations regarding hazardous material shipped through United States Postal Service. A hazardous material is any article or substance designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation as being capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, or property during transportation. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Minor Blast/Minor Projection Hazard — Ammunition
  2. Oxidizing Substances — Batteries
  3. Flammable Solids — Black Powder
  4. Flammable and combustible liquid — Cleaners, oil, and aerosol cans

If you wish to order any hazardous material, you must provide a physical address for shipment through UPS.

Magazine Ordering Restrictions

JWorks abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of high capacity magazines. We DO NOT ship high-capacity magazines with firearms to the states that have active magazine restrictions. We WILL NOT replace high capacity magazines with state compliant magazines. We DO NOT offer refunds in place of the magazines.

It is the customer’s responsibility for understanding state laws regarding magazine capacities. Customers ordering magazines that are illegal to own in their state will have their orders cancelled and will be charged a 5% restocking fee.

Magazine Restriction Exceptions

  1. Law enforcement officers must provide both their credentials and a letterhead signed by their department’s superior officer stating that the magazine will only be used in the execution of the L.E.O.’s duties. JWorks only recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, and State Police (including Highway Patrol) as L.E.O.’s.
  2. Some of the states listed above may not have L.E.O. exemptions. Please contact us BEFORE placing your order.

Ammunition Ordering Restrictions

JWorks abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of ammunition.

  1. You agree and accept all policies described in our Terms of Use.
  2. You are at least 21 years of age (for handgun ammunition) or 18 years of age (for rifle ammunition).
  3. By purchasing ammunition, you are not violating any local, state, or federal laws.
  4. You have not been convicted of any felony, a misdemeanor of domestic abuse, and you are not chemically dependent.
  5. You have no legal restraint that would prohibit you from possessing, ordering, owning, or transferring ammunition.
  6. You have never been committed to any mental institution, or been adjudicated as mentally defective. You will not sell ammunition to any minor.

Residents of Illinois, New Jersey and Connecticut must send in a copy of their FOID/FID/Permit. More information can be found here. The customer is responsible to know and follow all federal, state, and local guidelines when purchasing and reloading ammunition.

Residents of Rhode Island, When ordering ammunition, you must be 21 years of age or older and must have a Pistol/Revolver Safety Certificate from the Department of Environmental Management. Please send a copy in along with your state ID for verification.

Special Tax Notices

All States

The decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., et al, overturned prior Supreme Court precedent in Quill Corp. v. North Dakota, which previously required retailers to have a physical presence in a state beyond merely shipping goods in order to require a retailer to collect and remit sales taxes from those in-state customers. Going forward, JWorks will be collecting and remitting sales tax in those states which require such. Please refer to the link below for more information.

California Notice

California Magazine Ban Lifted August 14th, 2020

The Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals issued a much-anticipated opinion on August 14 finding the large capacity magazine ban is unconstitutional. JWorks applauds the court’s ruling and is proud to have provided an affidavit in support of the challenge to the illegal ban.

As the court said, “California’s near-categorical ban of LCMs infringes on the fundamental right to self-defense…. [I]t substantially burdens the core right of self-defense guaranteed to the people under the Second Amendment. It cannot stand.”

“This decision is a victory for the Second Amendment and a reason JWorks supports the Second Amendment Defense Fund,” said JWorks owner Jamin McCallum. “Protecting our freedoms and defending our constitutional liberties are JWorks’s founding principles.”

JWorks values your freedom and constitutional rights above all else. However, JWorks will not accept new orders nor will ship any order until the Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals decision becomes finalized. Once this decision is finalized, we will start accepting new orders and ship 10+ round magazines to California Customers.

Due to recent changes in California state law, JWorks will no longer be able to ship so called “assault weapons” to the state of California. This would include all JWorks AR-15 complete lowers, AR-15 complete rifles, and all JWorks AK-47 rifles. This would also include other makes and models of these same firearm platforms manufactured by other companies. Example: Colt AR-15 rifle.

As of the 1st of July 2019, all California ammunition orders must be shipped to one of the following:

  1. California FFL (order will be shipped to the address on the FFL)
  2. CA DOJ Certificate of Eligibility (COE) holder (MUST send COE and Driver’s License if the address is NOT printed on the COE).
  3. Someone who holds an Ammunition Vendor’s License (MUST send AVL and Driver’s License if the address is NOT printed on the AVL)
  4. Type 03 FFL holders must contact us with a copy of your current FFL, CA DOJ COE and California Drivers License.

No ammunition sales to the cities of Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, or Avalon.

Deerfield, Illinois Notice

Deerfield, Illinois has recently passed a ban on large capacity magazines and so called “assault weapons”. Every citizen in Deerfield has until June 13, 2018 to remove, destroy, or sell the firearms described in this Ordinance (O-18-06). Due to the nature of the ordinance, JWorks will no longer ship magazines or firearms after June 1, 2018 if it falls within these categories. This would include AR rifles, completed receivers, or stripped receivers and all AK rifles. This would include other makes and models of these same firearm platform manufactured by other companies. Example: Colt AR-15 rifle. This will also include any AR or AK parts and pieces (i.e. AR rifle kit, build kit, or parts kit) Any magazines over 10 rounds for a pistol or rifle or shotgun magazines cannot be over 5 rounds will not be shipped.

Legal Disputes

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. By placing an online order with JWorks, customer hereby:

  1. Submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal or state courts located in Lexington or Richland Counties, South Carolina, in any litigation, suit, action or proceeding arising out of, or relating to, the order or these Terms and Conditions
  2. Knowingly, voluntarily, and irrevocably consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of said court
  3. Waives any right to dismiss or transfer it may have based on improper venue or forum nonconveniens to the conduct of any proceeding in said court.

By placing an order through this website, customer agrees to HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY JWorks for any and all costs, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney and other professional fees and disbursements) arising from any claim, cause of action, or legal dispute of any kind arising from or relating to the transaction or JWorks’s enforcement of these Terms and Conditions.


If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall to any extent be held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then: (a) the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall not be affected, and every remaining provision of the Terms and Conditions shall be valid and binding to the fullest extent permitted by law, and (b) a suitable and equitable provision shall be substituted for such invalid and unenforceable provision in order to carry out, so far as may be valid and enforceable, the intent and purpose of such invalid or unenforceable provision.
